Every year, since 2003, I attend “convention”. This is one of the wonderful continuing education opportunities I have each year, put on by the professional organization of studios like Do*It*Yourself Crafts.
This year it was in St. Charles, MO and we had so much fun! It is an amazing thing to be around your peers – the ones who speak the same language and have the same passion. I always come back rejuvenated and filled with amazing ideas.
I took several classes and I’m looking forward to sharing what I learned with you. Some things will be behind the scenes, but all for a better store.
One of the things we do is have an auction to raise money for St. Jude. Great organization, and it has helped some of our friends at the store. Love being able to help.
