The kids classes at Do It Yourself Crafts are made with your kiddo in mind! We’ll take them step-by-step through the entire project and they (and you) will love the final outcome. Pottery fired in the kiln is food-safe and can be enjoyed for years to come, but should not be used in the microwave and we suggest you hand-wash the masterpiece.

We schedule the class for an hour, but some friends may need more or less time, depending on the project, the kiddo and where the moon and the sun are in the sky.

Please note that pottery paint comes out of clothes! Please plan on having no more than one adult per child attend. Items will be ready for pick up in a week, and you will be texted when they are ready.

Cancellation policy: We understand that sometimes kiddos get sick, or that socks fit wrong, and plans need to change. Please call us at 205-868-4346 to let us know that you can’t make it, and we’ll be happy to issue you a store credit for the amount paid for the event. It is valid for 60 days. In the event of no-shows without prior notification, no credit will be issued.
