Would you like to preserve your family’s prints in the most unique way? We are thrilled to be offering a Clay Handprint bowl, and you won’t even need to bring the family in to make it.
To make this one-of-a-kind bowl, you’ll need a traced outline of everyone you want to include in the bowl. The best way to do this is just like we did it in elementary school – trace around on a piece of 8 1/2 x 11″ paper. Write the name of each person’s name next to the hand, and bring them all to us. (If you have family far away and they want to scan and send it to you, that will work fine, but please don’t have them send us the scan.) We will trace them, and can add texture and color to your finished project, or leave it a classic white.
The price of the bowl depends on the size of your hands that we are using. If the hand is 3.5″ or smaller, it is $18. Hands that are 6″ and smaller (but bigger than 3.5″) are $20. Hands 7.5″ and smaller are $25, and larger than that are $28. We will price your item based on the cut-outs you bring us, and it includes all firing, designs and glazing. There are some decisions you’ll need to make in the store, so please feel free to call us with any questions you might have.
These will take 2-3 weeks to be ready, as they will need to dry fully and be fired twice. For holidays, plan on three weeks so we can make sure you get your bowl back in time!
